Tri Vi 3D Display

Tri Vi 3D Display

John Goodhue and Prof. David Jannson make final adjustments to the “Tri Vi” volumetric 3D display. The display allowed a complete 360 degree view of an imaged object (if you walked around to the back of the display you saw the back of the object). It may have been the first operational volumeric 3D display. Ed Berlin invented the display concept used in the Tri Vi device and the high speed link required was invented by Glen Dash.
